Striving for the best you - in mind and body is possible with Pilates.  You should feel as comfortable with yourself in here as in your own home.  With our attention to you and your body along with your hard work,  you should have an amazing experience with Pilates.  Being safe, not having pain and above all having fun should have you walking out of here feeling better than when you walked in the studio.

We use Gratz equipment at our studio. Gratz offers all of the Pilates equipment/apparatus and we offer eight different pieces. Pilates equipment consists of over 10 different pieces, not just the reformers that are often shown on TV infomercials from sub-par brands.

All of the pieces work like a symphony together. Just as the mat work and the spring work go together. Many exercises can be done on on multiple pieces to help you understand different aspects of exercises or different levels as you progress.

If you are new to Pilates and have never tried any Pilates equipment, it might not make sense to pay close to $5000 for a reformer when you can buy one from the store or from the TV for a few hundred dollars. However, Gratz is far superior equipment in every way. They have kept true to the designs Joseph Pilates invented almost a century ago. With a few changes for comfort and safety.
We refer to the “machines” as apparatus because a machine works you and you work an apparatus. His equipment designs were very mathematical and will accommodate just about any size person, as long as they are being maintained properly. Even with heights well above six feet and weight well over 200 pounds, different gears and lengths of reformers have no problem.

If you have tried other brands, you will be able to feel a difference in how your work out feels. You have to be in control of the springs. They are much smoother than the other brands and yet you will get a better workout. With other brands, the springs will pull you home quickly. Joseph designed them so you have to work to bring the springs home. He really was a genius and ahead of him time. You will just have to try and see for yourself!
